FT. WORTH – Medical City Alliance hosted its fourth annual “Spooktacular” celebration Saturday, October 27 and welcomed over 3000 attendees from the surrounding community. The family-friendly event features music, free food and drinks, face painting, a pumpkin decorating contest, trick or treating for the kids, a costume contest, healthy cooking demonstrations and many more activities.
In 2017, more than 2,500 adults and children joined Medical City Alliance for the annual celebration. The event takes place on the hospital campus located off I-35 and N. Tarrant Parkway.
“Spooktacular is part of our commitment to caring for the community and enables families to see our positive hospital environment and meet our friendly staff,” says Glenn Wallace, CEO of Medical City Alliance. “We are very proud that many families have now established this celebration as an annual family tradition.”
Started in 2015, the year Medical City Alliance opened, the first Spooktacular was designed to provide parents with safe and family friendly alternative to traditional trick or treating. The event is hosted during daylight hours, free from traffic and other hazards present when children most often trick or treat door-to-door.
The date for the fifth annual Spooktacular celebration has already been scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019.
