FT. WORTH – After an extensive search, Medical City Alliance has named Gaylen Evans as vice president of human resources.
Prior to her role with Medical City Alliance, Evans served as the HR leader for The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano and Denton. In addition to overseeing the HR responsibilities for over 1200 employees, as part of the executive team, Evans provided strategic counsel, partnered with specialist groups to provide incentive programs, and oversaw conflict management and resolution activities for the organization. She has also served as the division human resources manager for St. David’s Healthcare System in Austin, Texas, and has served in roles at Methodist Hospital for Surgery, Texas Health Resources and The Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Lafayette, LA.
Evans is a specialist in developing and implementing, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee retention, benefits management and employee relations policies and strategies. She has a proven and exceptional record of accomplishment in leading innovative initiatives that have dramatically reduced turnover and increased employee engagement.
Evans holds a bachelor in Psychology from Louisiana Tech and is actively pursuing an MBA from Strayer University.
